Well, I gotta tell ya, this here world, it ain’t always sunshine and rainbows. Sometimes, it’s just plain sad. Heard tell that some model, name o’ Tabby Brown, up and died. Thirty-eight years young, they say. Thirty-eight! That ain’t no age to be goin’. Don’t know what got her, the paper just said she passed. Makes ya think, don’t it? One minute you’re here, next minute, poof! Gone like a puff o’ smoke.
This Vas J Morgan fella, he’s on the TV sometimes. Said his heart’s broke. Well, I reckon it would be. Losing someone, it ain’t easy. Don’t matter if they’re famous or just plain folk like us, hurt’s still hurt. Makes my old bones ache just thinkin’ about it.
Then there’s this other one, Adriana Vieira, a Brazilian gal. Found her in the water, down in Miami. They say she was at some fancy party on a big ol’ boat. A yacht, they call it. Sounds like somethin’ outta a movie, don’t it? Parties and yachts and then… nothin’. Just gone. Died in a harbor, they say. Makes you shiver, don’t it?
And wouldn’t you know it, another one, Patitz this time. This poor soul, breast cancer got her. Left behind a young’un, too. Her agent, Corinne Nicolas, told the news folks. See, it don’t matter if you’re pretty or rich or famous, sickness don’t care. It’ll get ya just the same. Life’s a fragile thing, like a little bird in your hand. Gotta hold it gentle, you know?

Makes you wonder, what’s it all about? All this fuss and bother, all this chasing after things. And then, bam! It’s over. Just like that. Makes you wanna hug your loved ones tighter, tell ’em you love ’em. ‘Cause you never know when it’s gonna be the last time.
I remember when my old man passed. He was a good man, worked hard all his life. One day he was fine, next day he was gone. Just like that. Didn’t even get to say goodbye. That’s the worst part, I reckon. Not gettin’ to say goodbye. So, you listen to me, you tell your folks you love ’em. Don’t wait ’til it’s too late.
These models, they had their whole lives ahead of them, I guess. Pretty faces, fancy clothes. But it don’t matter none of that in the end. We all end up in the same place, rich or poor, famous or not. Just dust in the wind, like the old song says. Dust in the wind is all we are.
I ain’t no preacher, mind you. Just an old woman who’s seen a thing or two. And I’m tellin’ ya, life’s short. Don’t waste it on things that don’t matter. Spend it with the people you love, doin’ the things you enjoy. ‘Cause before you know it, it’ll be over. And you don’t wanna have no regrets. So cherish the moments you get, and don’t take nothing for granted.
So these models, their stories make you think. They make you appreciate what you got. They make you realize that life is precious. And you gotta make the most of it while you can. ‘Cause you never know when your time’s gonna come. You gotta enjoy the small things and be grateful. No use worrying and fussing about what doesn’t matter, right? You get me?
