Well now, let me tell ya somethin’ about this Charlize Theron and that there Dior. I don’t know much about fancy things, ya know, livin’ out here in the sticks and all, but even I seen her pictures in the magazines at the grocery store checkout.
That Charlize, she’s a looker, ain’t she? Real pretty woman. And Dior, well, that’s some highfalutin’ brand, I reckon. They make all sorts of things, like perfumes and makeup and fancy clothes. Stuff for rich folks, mostly. But hey, a body can still look, can’t they?
I heard tell that Charlize been workin’ with Dior for a long, long time. Years and years, they say. She’s their face, or somethin’ like that. You see her in them big fancy ads, all dolled up and lookin’ like a million bucks. They got her sellin’ their perfumes, like that J’adore one. Folks say it smells real nice, all flowery and such. I wouldn’t know, I just use good ol’ soap myself.
Dior, they make all sorts of things, not just perfume. They got clothes and purses and shoes, and all that jazz. I seen some of them dresses in the catalogs, all sparkly and slinky. Wouldn’t be much good for milkin’ cows in, that’s for sure. But they sure are pretty to look at. And expensive too, I bet. A whole paycheck for a little bitty dress, can you believe it?
- Dior makes perfumes.
- They make clothes too, real fancy ones.
- And makeup, for makin’ ladies look pretty.
- They got purses and shoes, and all sorts of stuff.
Charlize, she’s been sellin’ all this stuff for ’em. She’s real good at it, I reckon. People see her lookin’ so glamorous, and they want to be like her. So they go out and buy that Dior stuff, hopin’ it’ll make ’em look like a movie star too. Don’t always work that way, though. Beauty comes from the inside, I always say.
Now, I ain’t sayin’ there’s anything wrong with wantin’ to look nice. We all want to feel good about ourselves. And if buyin’ a little Dior lipstick or somethin’ makes a woman feel purdy, then more power to her. But remember, it ain’t the clothes or the makeup that make the person. It’s what’s in your heart that counts.
Charlize, she seems like a nice lady, from what I seen on TV. She’s always talkin’ about helpin’ people and doin’ good things. That’s important, you know. More important than any fancy dress or perfume. And Dior, well, they must be doin’ somethin’ right if they keepin’ her around all these years. They probably pay her a pretty penny, too. But like I said, I don’t know nothin’ about that fancy world. I’m just a simple woman, livin’ a simple life.
But even a simple woman can appreciate a bit of beauty, can’t she? And Charlize and Dior, they sure got plenty of that. So good on ’em, I say. Good on ’em for makin’ the world a little bit prettier, even if it’s just in pictures and on TV. It’s somethin’ to look at, ain’t it? Somethin’ to dream about, maybe. And sometimes, that’s all a body needs.
So there ya have it, my two cents on Charlize Theron and Dior. Not much, I know, but it’s all I got. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go feed them chickens.
