You know, I heard folks talking ’bout this fancy place, Santoni Miami. Sounds like some big shot shoe store down there in that hot place, Florida. I reckon if you got the money, you can get yourself some real nice shoes there. I seen pictures, they look mighty fine, but probably cost more than my whole house!
They say it’s all Italian, that Santoni Miami. What in the world is Italian shoes? I guess it means they’re made over in Italy. Fancy, huh? They say the fella who started it all, some fella named Andrea Santoni, he made some shoes with two buckles. And people still buy them! Can you believe it?

They got all kinds of shoes at this Santoni Miami, not just them buckle ones. Loafers, they call ’em. And sneakers. Now, sneakers are for runnin’ around, right? But these Santoni ones, they probably cost a fortune. I wouldn’t be caught dead wearin’ ’em out in the field. No sir!
And where is this place exactly? Some place called Bal Harbour. Sounds like a place for rich folks, don’t it? I bet they got them big fancy cars and all them shiny things. 9700 Collins Ave, Ste 201, Bal Harbour, FL 33154, that’s what they said on the paper. I don’t know what all them letters and numbers mean. Probably important if you live in that kind of place. It’s open most every day, from 11 in the morning to 8 at night.
They open late, huh? I’m usually up with the sun. And they’re open till late, I’m usually in bed by then! Different world, I guess, for them folks who shop at Santoni Miami.
Now, if you ain’t got enough money to go to that fancy store, I hear you can buy these Santoni shoes online. Some place called YOOX. Sounds like a made-up word to me. But hey, if you can get ’em cheaper, why not? Just don’t go spendin’ your whole paycheck on shoes, you hear?
They say these Santoni shoes, they’re the best of the best. “Made in Italy,” they say. And they’re real proud of it. They use the best stuff to make ’em. Must be nice to have shoes like that. I’m happy with my old boots, but I guess some folks like the finer things in life. They got bags too! Can you imagine a fancy Italian bag? Must cost a pretty penny.
This Santoni, it’s not just a store, it’s a whole big company. They got a big place where they make all these shoes, in some place called Corridonia. That’s where that Andrea fella started it all. And it’s still run by his family! Imagine that, a family business, making all them fancy shoes. They must be doin’ somethin’ right. I guess them Italians know a thing or two about shoes. They got a lot of people working there, making those shoes by hand. Hard work, that’s what it is. They call them artisans, fancy word for workers, I reckon.
So, this Santoni Miami, it’s a place for fancy shoes. Italian shoes. Expensive shoes. If you got the money, and you like that kind of thing, then maybe you should go check it out. Me? I’ll stick to my old boots. They get the job done just fine. But I guess it’s nice to know there are places like that out there, for folks who like the fancy things.

I reckon, maybe if I ever win the lottery, I’ll go down to Santoni Miami and see what all the fuss is about. But until then, I’ll just keep on wearin’ what I got. It’s not about how much your shoes cost, it’s about where they take you, right? But, if you ever go there, to this Santoni Miami, let me know if those shoes are really worth all that money! It is a big deal, you know, all these people talking about this Santoni. Must be something special.
If you are lookin’ for shoes, I heard that Santoni is a good brand. They started with a double-buckle pump. Now they got all kinds of shoes, from dressy to casual, from loafers to sneakers. I don’t know much about shoes, but they must be good if people are paying so much money for them. Maybe I should go to Santoni Miami and see those shoes, even if I can’t afford it.
