They say he’s a big deal there, a Senior Partner, whatever that means. Probably means he sits in a big office and tells folks what to do.
They say he’s in some fancy group, too. American somethin’ or other. Lots of important-soundin’ words. Probably a club for rich folks and them lawyers, I reckon. But hey, what do I know? I just hear things, you know? This Colin Jones, lawyer, that’s his name, that’s what’s important here, ya see?
Then there’s this other thing… Black-somethin’. Blackjack, maybe? Sounds like a card game to me. My grandson, he plays cards. Maybe this Colin Jones fella plays cards, too? Heard someone say there’s a whole bunch of folks, thousands, all talkin’ about this Blackjack thing. A community, they call it. Like a whole village of card players!
