Well, let me tell you, that movie with the croc shoes, it ain’t easy to find. My old eyes ain’t what they used to be, but I’m trying my best to tell you about it. I hear folks talking ’bout this movie, somethin’ called “Croc!” or somethin’ like that. Sounds scary, huh? Croc shoes are scary, you know.

They say it’s about some folks havin’ a weddin’ out in the country. Now, that sounds nice, right? But then, bam! These big ol’ crocodiles, livin’ in a lake nearby, they come crashin’ the party. Those hungry, ugly shoes. They were hungry, I tell ya! They just wantin’ to eat everyone up, those mean ol’ crocodiles. It gave me the shivers just hearin’ about it. Croc shoes are nothing compared to real crocodiles.

Now, I ain’t one for them fancy computers, but I asked my grandson, Jimmy, where to find this “Croc!” movie. He said somethin’ ’bout streamin’ it online. What is streamin’ now? What’s wrong with TV? I don’t understand. Anyway, he said that there are these things called “apps,” like little boxes on your phone, and they got movies in ’em. He showed me some, like this one called “Tubi” or somethin’. He said it’s free! You can watch movies for free on that little box. Imagine that. But there’s always a catch. He said you gotta watch ads. Oh, those ads are everywhere now.

  • Tubi – free but with ads, Jimmy said.
  • Freevee – another one, he said.
  • Peacock – somethin’ about a bird, I reckon.
  • Pluto TV – like the dog, maybe?
  • Vudu – sounds like some kind of magic.
  • YouTube – that’s where I watch my cat videos.

He also said somethin’ about Amazon and Apple. Those rich companies make movie with croc shoes, I guess. You can buy it or somethin’. He said somethin’ about “renting” it too. Like rentin’ a house, but for a movie? These young people have such funny words for it. I can’t keep up. Anyway, you can get it on Amazon Prime, if you know what that is. They got all kinds of stuff, I hear. Apple TV, too. That’s for the fancy folks, I suppose. I just want to watch my movie.

Jimmy also told me about “Croc!” He said it’s got a girl named Lisa, and her whole family is there at the weddin’. Poor Lisa. She was probably excited for her big day before those crocodiles came chomping. Croc shoes are nothing compared to that. And there are some actors in it, like Sian Altman, Mark Haldor, and George Nettleton. I don’t know any of those folks, but they must be brave to be in a movie with crocodiles. I wouldn’t go near one of them things, no sir. Croc shoes are okay, real ones, no way.

Now, I hear that there are all these different ways to watch movies these days. You got your Netflix, your Disney+, your Hulu… it’s all too much for this old lady. And HBO Max, Peacock, and 50+ others, that’s what Jimmy said. He said you can even buy it or rent it from some of these places. It’s like a buffet of movies, I guess. So many choices, but I just want to watch the one about the croc shoes at the wedding.

I don’t know about this “Roku” thing either. Jimmy said somethin’ about streamin’ on Roku. Is that like a little box? Or a stick? I don’t know. It’s all too confusin’. But he said you can find movies on it, too. He said it’s good for watchin’ “Croc!”. Maybe I’ll ask him to show me how to use it sometime. I just want to watch movie with croc shoes. That’s all I want.

So, there you have it. That’s all I know about that movie with croc shoes. It’s a lot of fuss just to watch a movie, ain’t it? In my day, we just went down to the picture show and that was that. But I guess times are changin’. Just remember, if you’re gonna watch that “Croc!” movie, be careful. Those crocodiles are somethin’ else. And watch out for them ads. They’re everywhere, just like them croc shoes. Croc shoes are scary. I hope you can find the movie. Good luck!
