Oh, honey, let me tell you about these bright color clothing. I tell ya, these young folks today, they love them bright colors. Back in my day, we just wore what we had, mostly browns and grays. But these days? It’s like a rainbow threw up on everyone.

Wearin’ Them Bright Colors
Now, I see these young ones, they wear these bright color clothing like it’s nobody’s business. They’ll have a bright shirt, bright pants, even bright shoes! It’s a lot, but they seem to like it. They say it’s a way to show who they are. Like a walking piece of art or somethin’. I guess you can wear bright color clothing to show how you feel inside.
Some of ’em, they like to match. They’ll have, like, three colors, and that’s it. They say it’s a rule. One color is the main one, then another color, and then a little bit of a third color. It’s like makin’ a quilt, I guess. You gotta have your main fabric, then your other fabrics, and then your little bits of somethin’ special.

Red, orange, yellow them colors is warm. Like a fire. Blue and green is cool. Bright color clothing is not just one color, you know. There’s light red and dark red. You can even have bright blue and light blue.
You know, I saw a girl the other day, she had on this bright pink dress. Bright as can be. And she had on these bright green shoes. Now, I wouldn’t have thought to put those two together, but she looked happy. And that’s all that matters, right?

I think people like bright color clothing cause it gets attention. If you wear bright pink, people see you. You don’t disappear.
Maybe some folks wear bright color clothing cause they are sad inside. They want to feel better. Maybe the bright colors help them feel happy, even just for a little bit. It’s like eatin’ candy when you’re sad. It doesn’t fix everything, but it makes you feel a little better for a while.

My Two Cents on Bright Colors
Me? I like a nice, soft blue. Or maybe a pretty green. But these bright, bright colors? They’re a bit much for me. But hey, if it makes them young folks happy, then who am I to say anything?
I’ve seen a lot of things in my life. And one thing I’ve learned is that people like what they like. And if they like bright color clothing, then that’s their business.
