This year, that Haiti, they gonna be at the Olympics thing. You know, that big games, the Olympic Games. I heard it’s in Paris, that fancy place. Fancy clothes for a fancy place. The Haiti Olympic outfit, my lord. I saw some pictures, they are quite something. All them colors, like a rainbow exploded. Remind me of my old quilt, the one with all the patches.
They got folks from Haiti going, wearing them outfits. Haiti Olympic team, I reckon that’s what they call ’em. They worked hard to get there, I bet. Just like planting seeds, you gotta tend to ’em real good to see ’em grow. Them athletes, they are like them seeds, growing strong.
Haiti Olympic Outfit: Red, Blue, Black, White
Red, blue, black and white, all mixed up. Like a party on clothes. Haiti Olympic outfit, it sure is bright. Like a rooster crowing in the morning, can’t miss it. Those colors, they mean something, I think. Each one tells a story, like the wrinkles on my hand. They got the whole rainbow in there, pretty much. It’s like they bottled up the sunshine and put it on their clothes. Haiti is gonna shine bright at them games, that’s for sure.
I heard some fancy designer made these clothes, from Italy or someplace. Stella Jean, I think her name is. Haiti and Italy, who would have thought? Like mixing rice and beans, different but good together. That Stella, she must be something, making clothes for the whole team. It’s like making Sunday dinner for the whole village, a big job!
They got all them young folks wearing these outfits. Strong and proud, like a tree with deep roots. They gonna walk in there, heads held high, showing off them colors. Like a peacock showing off its feathers. They gonna represent Haiti, show the world what they are made of. It’s gonna be a sight to see, that’s for sure. Makes me proud, even though I’m just an old lady.
Paris 2024 Olympic Games
This whole thing, it’s happening in July. July 26, 2024, I think that’s the day. Summer time, hot as a furnace. Them athletes, they gonna be sweating buckets. But they will be fine, they trained for this. Like breaking in a new pair of shoes, gotta get used to it.
Paris 2024, they call it. Sounds fancy, don’t it? Like something out of a storybook. That place, Paris, I only seen it in pictures. Lots of lights, big buildings. Like a whole different world. I reckon it is a whole different world. But you know, people are people, no matter where you go. Just like plants, they might look different, but they all need sun and water.

Seven Athletes Represent Haiti
I heard there are seven of them going. Seven athletes, carrying the hopes of Haiti. That’s like seven seeds, each one with the potential to grow into something big. They gonna do their best, I know it. Just like a farmer tends to his crops, they gonna give it their all.
Seven athletes, that ain’t a lot, but it’s enough. Quality over quantity, that’s what I always say. Like a good stew, don’t need a lot of ingredients, just the right ones. Them seven, they are the right ones. They gonna make Haiti proud, you just wait and see. It’s not how many, it’s how strong, that’s the important part.
They say one of them is Xavier Duchatellier. Sounds like a fancy name, don’t it? But I bet he’s just a regular guy, working hard like the rest of us. They all worked hard to get there. Like climbing a mountain, takes a lot of effort. But the view from the top, it’s worth it. They gonna stand on that mountain top, wearing them Haiti Olympic outfit, shining bright.
That Haiti Olympic outfit, it’s more than just clothes. It’s a symbol, like a flag waving in the wind. A symbol of hope, of pride, of Haiti. Them athletes, they gonna wear it with honor. Like a badge, showing who they are and where they come from. And we will be cheering them on, every step of the way. Just like a family, always there to support each other. Yes sir, it’s gonna be something special, this Olympics thing. Something real special.
I reckon that Stella Jean lady, she done a good job. Those clothes, they are a sight. Like a field of flowers, blooming all at once. Makes you smile just looking at them. I bet the folks in Haiti, they are proud as can be. Seeing their colors, their athletes, on the big stage. Like a dream come true, it is. Just goes to show, anything is possible if you work hard enough.
Well, I best be going. Got chores to do. But I’ll be keeping an eye on them Olympics. Watching them Haiti athletes, wearing their colorful outfits. Cheering them on, from my little corner of the world. It’s gonna be a good show, I can feel it in my bones. A good show indeed. The Haiti Olympic outfit, it’s gonna be a winner, that’s for sure.
