So, the other day I was poking around online, you know, just seeing what’s out there in the wild world of e-commerce. And I stumbled upon this company, FAMETRADE LLC. Sounded kind of fancy, right? Turns out they’re mostly into the whole sports and outdoorsy stuff, selling things like Ecotric bikes, Kuafu stuff, and some other brands I hadn’t heard of before.

They’ve been around on Amazon since like, 2016, so they’re not exactly newbies. And apparently, they’ve got a pretty solid customer base – tens of thousands, at least according to what I saw. Made me think, “Okay, these guys might be legit.”
First Impressions
- I saw they had some presence on Walmart Marketplace too, but the reviews there weren’t so hot. Like, really not hot. More like ice cold. I saw a bunch of complaints about order cancellations, which is always a bummer.
- But then, back on their Amazon seller page, things looked a bit brighter. They had a decent seller rating, over 4 stars. Confusing, right? One place they’re loved, another place…not so much.
Diving Deeper
So, naturally, I got curious. What are these guys actually selling? Turns out, it’s a lot of bikes – mountain bikes, those fancy electric bikes, folding bikes, even unicycles! Who rides unicycles anymore? Anyway, they also had a bunch of tools and home improvement things, and stuff for your lawn and garden. Basically, your typical weekend warrior kind of gear.
Contacting Them
Then I figured, why not try reaching out? They had a phone number listed, 510 area code. Gave them a call just to see what their customer service was like. Someone answered pretty quickly, sounded professional enough. Didn’t really have any specific questions, just wanted to get a feel for them. Seemed okay, I guess.
More Research
I also checked out some of the product pages. They had some Ecotric tailgate molding thingy listed for various car models. Prices seemed to vary depending on the size and color, which is pretty standard. Also saw they were into selling auto parts and lights, according to some info I found. Guess they’ve got their hands in a few different pots.
The Verdict (For Now)
Honestly, it’s a bit of a mixed bag with these guys. Good reviews on Amazon, terrible reviews on Walmart. They sell a bunch of different stuff, mostly outdoorsy, but also some random auto parts. Customer service seemed alright when I called. So, what’s the final word? I don’t know, to be honest. I’d probably say proceed with caution. Maybe start with a small order from their Amazon store, see how that goes, and then maybe, just maybe, consider buying something bigger. That’s what I’m thinking, at least.

I might check back in later and see what more people are saying, and maybe even order something small to test them out. Who knows, they might surprise me. Or they might just confirm those bad Walmart reviews. We’ll see!
I still spent some time to look up their company info, it seems they are a registered business, I found their address in Casper, WY. There are just 3 bad reviews on it, lol.
I probably will do nothing on it, just leave it alone. But if I have time, I might do more research to see how it goes. Who knows, maybe they’re just a small business struggling with some growing pains. Or maybe they’re just not that great. Only time will tell!
