Okay, so, I decided to hit up Couture Las Vegas 2024. I’d heard some buzz about it, figured it was time to see what the fuss was all about. First thing I did was book my flight and a room at the Wynn. I mean, if you’re gonna do it, do it right, yeah?

Landed in Vegas, and the vibe was already electric. Got to the Wynn, and it was just massive. Checked in, dropped my bags, and took a moment to soak it all in from my room. The view was awesome, by the way. Alright, enough of that, time to get down to business.

I headed down to the show floor, and man, it was packed. Tons of people, all checking out the latest jewelry. I started wandering around, just taking it all in. There were so many booths, each one more impressive than the last. Saw a lot of pearls, which, you know, are always classy. And then there was this lapis stuff – so blue, I loved it!

Walking and Chatting

  • Walked around for hours, just exploring.
  • Stopped at a bunch of booths, chatted with the designers.
  • Saw some really unique pieces, things I’d never seen before.
  • Tried on a few rings and necklaces. Why not, right?

I spent the whole day there, from morning till evening. Feet were killing me, but it was worth it. Met some cool people, got some great ideas for my own collection, and just had a blast. Grabbed some dinner at one of the fancy restaurants in the hotel. Figured I deserved it after all that walking.

Next day, I went back for more. I realized one day wasn’t enough. I went to see some specific designers I’d scoped out the day before. I even bought a few pieces for myself – a treat, you know. I had some interesting conversations with these guys, learned about their process. These artists are truly passionate about what they do, which is always great to see.

More Exploring and Buying

  • Returned to the show for a second day.
  • Visited specific designers I liked.
  • Bought a few pieces that caught my eye.
  • Talked more with the designers, learned about their inspiration.

After two full days, I was pretty much done. I’d seen everything, bought some cool stuff, and my feet were absolutely screaming at me. Packed my bags, checked out, and headed to the airport.

All in all, it was an amazing experience. I’d definitely go back next year. Maybe I’ll even get a booth and showcase my own stuff. Who knows? Vegas, baby!
