Okay, so I’ve been wanting to get my hands on a pair of Prada’s air bubble shoes for a while now. They just look so darn cool with that transparent sole thing going on. I finally decided to pull the trigger, but I wanted to make sure I was getting the real deal and not some cheap knock-off.

First thing I did was hop on my computer to do some research. I found the official Prada store online, but man, those prices were eye-watering! I mean, I like nice things, but I wasn’t sure I was ready to drop that much cash on a pair of shoes.
Then I had a look at some secondhand websites, and they did have some Prada Cloudbust Air shoes listed. The prices were a bit better, but I was still a little nervous about buying used. You never know what you’re gonna get, right?
After mulling it over for a bit, I figured, why not just go check out some stores in person? I remembered that Oxford Street is a shopping paradise. So, I made a day of it and headed down there. I popped into a bunch of high-street stores like Gap and River Island, and even browsed through some of those big department stores like Selfridges and John Lewis. No luck. They had some nice kicks, but not the Prada ones I was after.
Feeling a little discouraged, I remembered reading about this massive shopping complex somewhere that was supposedly the largest in the world. I searched it up and it was the Shinsegae Centum City in South Korea. I was like, well I am not going to South Korea for a pair of shoes.
Then I saw they have a Prada in there! I gave the store a call, and what do you know, they had the air bubble shoes in stock! It was a long shot but it paid off!

I took a trip down to Shinsegae Centum City – that place is a maze! Seriously, you could get lost in there for days. They’ve got everything: an ice rink, a movie theater, even a golf range! It is as big as they say.
Anyway, I finally found the Prada store, and there they were, in all their bubbly glory. I tried them on, and they fit like a dream. They were even more impressive in person. That transparent sole is something else, and those 3D rubber details really pop.
The purchase itself was smooth. They even shipped them to me using DHL.
So, yeah, that’s the story of how I finally got my Prada air bubble shoes. It was a bit of an adventure, but totally worth it in the end. These shoes are definitely a statement piece, and I can’t wait to rock them!
