Today, I gotta share a little episode about returning stuff to COS. You know, COS, that clothing store? Yeah, so, I bought a few things online from them a while back, specifically on December 20th, 2024, so I was out of that usual 14-day return window.

But guess what? I found out that COS has this extended return period for the holidays. Anything bought online between November 18th and December 18th, 2024, could be returned until January 21st, 2025. And for stuff bought after December 18th, the 14-day policy starts, but with that holiday period, it had an extension, too. Since I got my stuff on December 20th, I was in the clear.
First things first, I checked their policy online. It said that returns for online purchases are free and easy. That’s a relief, right? I just needed to make sure my items were eligible. Luckily, everything I wanted to return was good to go.
So, here’s what I did:
- Checked the date: Made sure I was still within that extended return period.
- Gathered the items: Rounded up the stuff I wanted to return, I didn’t even remove the tags from the garments.
- Filled out the return form: There was a return form that came with the package. I just filled that out, pretty basic info about why I was returning.
- Packaged everything up: Put everything back in the original box, nice and neat.
- Sent it off: I got the online return label and took the package to the post office. Dropped it off, and that was it.
Now, I’m just waiting for the refund. Their policy says it takes a bit of time to process, but it should be smooth sailing. I’ll update you guys when the money’s back in my account. It is supposed to be a full refund.
Honestly, the whole process was way easier than I thought it would be. No hassle, no extra charges. COS made it pretty straightforward, which I appreciate.

Oh, and one more thing. I remembered reading somewhere that you can’t return stuff you bought in a physical store through their online service. So, if you’re thinking of doing that, better head to the actual store instead.
Anyway, that’s my little COS return adventure. Hope this helps anyone who’s in the same boat! I will keep you updated.
