Alright, alright, let’s talk about this… uh… “dafoe villains prada” thing. I saw some pictures, you know, on that… internet thingy my grandkids showed me. Fancy fellas in fancy clothes, that’s what it was.
So, there’s this Prada, right? Sounds like some kinda fancy pasta, but it ain’t. It’s clothes. Expensive clothes, I reckon. And they had these actors, the bad guys from the movies, you know? Like that fella with the crazy eyes… Willem Da… Da… somethin’ like that. Yeah, him! And that other one, Gary Oldman, looks like he could bite your head off in some of them pictures. They were all dressed up, walking like they owned the place.
They called it the “Villain Runway” or somethin’. Sounds about right. These fellas, they always play the mean ones. But, lemme tell ya, they looked kinda… dapper. That’s the word my grandaughter uses. Dapper in their fancy suits. Three-piece suits, they said. Shiny shoes, too. Not the kinda shoes you wear to feed the chickens, that’s for sure.

- Some other fellas too, but I don’t remember their names
It was in 2012, they said. Long time ago now. But folks are still talkin’ about it, I guess. Videos and pictures all over that internet thing. These actors, they got that mean look down pat. But in them Prada clothes, they looked like they could be sellin’ you a used car instead of robbin’ a bank. Heh!
I heard tell there were other famous folks there too. Singers, dancers, all sorts. K-pop somethin’-or-others. Never heard of ’em, myself. But they were there, watchin’ these “villains” strut their stuff. Must’ve been a sight.
Prada, huh? Must be nice to have that kinda money. To spend it on clothes like that. Me? I’m happy with my overalls and my sturdy boots. But I ain’t gonna lie, those fellas looked good. Even the scary ones. Maybe it’s the clothes, maybe it’s the way they walk… or maybe it’s just that they’re famous and folks will look at anything they do. Who knows?
The whole thing, it reminds me of that movie… “The Devil Wears Prada.” Heard about it, never seen it though. Guess it’s about fancy clothes and mean bosses or somethin’. Sounds about right for this “Villain Runway” show. All them fellas lookin’ like they could be the devil himself, but in a real nice suit.
So, yeah, that’s what I know about this “dafoe villains prada.” Fancy clothes, scary actors, and a whole lotta fuss. Makes you think, don’t it? About how different some folks’ lives are from ours. But hey, at least we got somethin’ to talk about, right? Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go check on them chickens.
And another thing, them clothes, they looked mighty uncomfortable. I bet them actors couldn’t wait to get outta them things and put on somethin’ they could actually move around in. Give me my comfy clothes any day. But hey, that’s just me. I ain’t no fashion expert.
I also heard somethin’ about a fashion showdown. Sounds like a fight, but with clothes instead of fists. These city folks got some strange ways of doin’ things. But I guess it’s all in good fun… or good business, more likely. Anyways, those fellas in their fancy suits, they sure put on a show.
So, if you ever see them pictures of Willem Dafoe, Gary Oldman, and the rest of them in them Prada clothes, you’ll know what’s what. It’s just a bunch of actors playing dress-up. But it sure is somethin’ to see.
