Okay, so I’ve been eyeing this Dior Tartan lipstick for a while now. It’s one of those things I saw online and just knew I had to try. The color, the packaging, everything about it just screamed “luxury” to me. So, I finally decided to go for it. The first thing I did was check the Dior official website. I wanted to get a feel for the product, you know, read some descriptions, and check out the shades.

After browsing a bit, I found some coupon codes online, which was a nice surprise. Saved a little bit on this purchase! Then, since I was already on a Dior kick, I started looking at their perfumes. They have so many options, from miniatures to full-size bottles. I might have to pick up a fragrance next time.

And then, of course, I stumbled upon the handbags. Oh, the Dior handbags! I learned that they’re actually cheaper in Europe and Singapore compared to New York City. Good to know for future reference, right? Especially if I ever get to go to one of those places, I’d have a good excuse to get a bag! I read about the Lady Dior bag, and the story behind it is pretty cool. It’s like a classic piece that keeps getting updated. I’ll definitely be taking a closer look next time I’m in a Dior store.

While researching, I also found out that all Dior bags have a date code on the leather tags. It’s a combination of numbers and letters that tells you where and when the bag was made. It’s like a little secret code, which I think is pretty neat.

So, I finally went and bought the Dior Tartan (812) lipstick. It was $45, which is a bit pricey, but I was really curious about this. The lipstick itself is 0.11 oz, so it’s not the biggest tube, but I’m sure it will last long enough.

Here’s what I did after I bought it:

  • Opened the packaging carefully. It felt so fancy!
  • Swatched the lipstick on my hand to see the color payoff.
  • Applied it to my lips. It felt so smooth and creamy.
  • Checked myself in the mirror. The color was gorgeous!

Overall, I’m really happy with my purchase. The Dior Tartan (812) lipstick is definitely a splurge, but the quality and the whole experience of buying and using it make it worth it, at least for me. I can now check it off my list, and am excited to wear it out!
