Okay, so, I’ve been meaning to get my nails done for ages, and I finally decided to try out this place called Glamour Nails in Carmel. I heard some good things, so I figured, why not?
First off, I called them up to check if they had any openings. The number is (317) 566-9743. The person on the phone was pretty nice and got me booked in for an appointment later that day. Sweet!
The salon is located at 2166 E 116th St. It was easy enough to find, and there was plenty of parking. When I walked in, the place looked clean and had a nice vibe. They have a bunch of different services, like manicures, pedicures, waxing, and even facials. I was there for a classic manicure, so I told the lady at the front desk what I wanted.
I didn’t have to wait long before one of the nail techs, a friendly woman, called me over to her station. She started by removing my old, chipped polish, which, let’s be honest, was long overdue. Then, she shaped my nails just how I like them – not too long, not too short, just perfect.
Next, she soaked my hands in some warm, soapy water. Felt so relaxing! She pushed back my cuticles and trimmed any hangnails. Everything was super gentle, no pain at all. After that, she gave me a little hand massage with some lotion. Oh boy, it was heavenly.
Finally, it was time for the polish. They had a huge selection of colors. I picked a lovely shade of red – classic, you know? She applied two coats of the color and a top coat to make it last longer. The whole process was smooth and efficient.

Overall, I had a great experience at Glamour Nails. It is not very different from other nail salons. The staff was friendly, the place was clean, and my nails turned out great. I’ll definitely go back there again.
