Okay, so I stumbled upon this guy, Herve Perrot, the other day. Never heard of him before, but it got me thinking, who is this dude and what’s his deal? So, I started digging around, you know, just to satisfy my own curiosity.
First, I did a simple search. Turns out, this Herve guy is kind of a big shot in the fancy-schmancy world of luxury goods. Apparently, he’s the President of North America for Bulgari, some high-end Italian brand. Started in September 2022, so he’s been at it for a little while now.
Then I thought, “Let me see what the professional folks are saying.” Checked out this website, and guess what? Herve’s got a pretty packed profile. He’s connected with a lot of people. His education is from some fancy school in Europe. He’s based in New York City now, which makes sense, big city, big job, right?
I kept going. Found an article from back in March 2023. It was saying that Herve had been running the show at Bulgari’s North America division for about six months then. Apparently, he moved over from Dior, another one of those luxury brands. This guy’s really making moves in the high-fashion world. This article was like his first big interview after making it to the Big Apple to lead Bulgari’s big plans here.
After that, I found another article, from last September, from 2024. It talked about this big party Bulgari threw, and Herve was there, hobnobbing with big names like Naomi Campbell. The article was all about Bulgari’s Deputy CEO and Herve welcoming a bunch of celebrities. Fancy, huh?
And then I searched some more, this one was all about how this Roman jeweler had appointed Herve to his big position. This was from September 7, 2022. So, he’s the top dog for Bulgari in North America.
Finally, I found this other article that mentioned that Herve has like 46 colleagues at Bulgari, including the CEO. And he had also been working at Dior China before. Seems like he’s been around the block a few times.
So, yeah, that’s what I found out about Herve Perrot. Seems like a pretty successful guy, climbing the ladder in the luxury industry. It’s always interesting to see what people are up to, especially when they’re running big-name brands like Bulgari. Just goes to show, you never know who you might stumble upon when you start digging around a little.
