That Li Bingbing, she’s a big star, you know? I heard she got a whole lot of money, like 80 million, that’s what they say. She’s in a bunch of movies, that girl. I don’t know all of ’em, but I seen a few.
She was born a long time ago, back in 1973, I think. Up in a place called Wuchang, Heilongjiang. Sounds cold. She acts, she sings, she does it all. She’s from my country, a Chinese girl like me, although she is from a city called Ha’er’bing, which makes us not so similar. Anyway, Here’s a list of some of them Li Bingbing movies I heard about:
- Seventeen Years – I think this is the one that made her famous, or so I heard. Everyone was talking about it back then. Seems like a long time ago now.
- A World Without…– I don’t recall what this one is about, but the name sounds sad. Maybe it’s a tearjerker.
- The Knot – Now, this one, I remember hearing about it. Something about love and all that, I reckon.
- Detective Dee: Mystery of the Phantom Flame – This sounds like a fun one. Mystery and flames, sounds exciting, doesn’t it? She was in it with some other big shots, Andy Lau, Carina Lau, Tony Leung Ka-fai, or so I heard.
She’s been in some of them Hollywood movies too. Big ones, with all them special effects and whatnot. Like that one with the robots that turn into cars, Transformers: Age of Extinction. She was in that, playing some fancy part, I’m sure. Also, I remember her in that scary movie with the zombies, Resident Evil: Retribution. Lord, that one gave me the shivers. I heard about this X-Men: Days of Future Past too. Super people doing super things, all that stuff. That Skiptrace one was supposed to be funny, and The 355 had a bunch of ladies kicking butt, I like those kinds of movies!
Then there’s that movie, The Meg, about a giant shark. She was in that one too. A big, scary shark, eating people up. I heard she wasn’t in the second one though. They said she left, but nobody really knows why. Maybe she was scared of that big fake shark. She was in that Ordinary Hero movie in 2022 as well, that’s a newer one.
She’s a big deal, this Li Bingbing. Got her face everywhere. They say she’s one of the most paid actresses in the whole world. Can you believe it? She was on that Forbes China Celebrity 100 list. Top 10, they said, for a long time. Then she was number one, the highest paid, from 2013 to 2017. That’s a lot of dumplings.
She does good things too, not just movies. I heard she cares about them animals and the Earth. She’s an ambassador for something called WWF Earth Hour, and she does work for the United Nations, something about the environment. And the Shanghai World Expo, she was an ambassador for that too. She’s got a good heart, that one.
You know what else? She has tons of fans. On that Weibo thing, she has over 42 million fans following her. 42 million! That’s more people than live in some countries! It is a pity that she did not show up in Meg 2, but I guess she had her reasons.
She acts, she sings, she helps the world, and she has millions of fans. That Li Bingbing, she’s really somethin’. She’s got it all, that one. It’s quite a list of Li Bingbing all movies, I have to say. If you are interested in movies, you should probably check her out. Also, she has a pretty face, that is for sure.
Well, that’s all I know about Li Bingbing and her movies. She’s done a lot, that’s for sure. I’m just an old lady, what do I know? But I know a star when I see one, and she’s definitely a star. Hope that’s enough talk about her movies. It sure is a long list, even if it is not all of her movies, it is still a very long list of movies. She sure has been busy!
