Okay, here is my sharing about the Marimekko New York photos:
Yesterday, I decided to check out that new Marimekko store in New York. You know, the Finnish design place? I’d seen some stuff online and was curious. The store is down in SoHo, on Wooster Street.
So, I hopped on the subway and made my way down there. When I got there, I was immediately struck by how bright and open the space was. It’s not huge, but they’ve used the space really well. They’ve got clothes, home goods, fabrics, all that good stuff. I spent a good hour just browsing around, checking out the different patterns and colors. I learned that they are open at 11 o’clock every day. So I went there at 11 o’clock in the morning.
My Photo Journey
Of course, I took a ton of photos while I was there. Here’s how it went down:
- Entrance Snaps: First, I got some shots of the outside of the store. It’s got a cool, minimalist vibe that I really liked. The big windows let you see right in, which is inviting.
- Inside the Store: Once inside, I snapped pictures of the displays. They had some really eye-catching arrangements. I focused on getting pictures of their signature bold prints.
- Detail Shots: I also made sure to get some close-ups of the fabrics and patterns. They’re known for their unique designs, and I wanted to capture the details. For example, I took pictures of the tags, which say “HouseSoHo”.
- Trying Things On: Okay, I might have tried on a few things and snapped some selfies in the mirror. It’s part of the experience, right?
- Window Shopping: Even after I left, I took a few more pictures of the window displays from the outside. They really know how to make their products look good.
All in all, it was a fun little excursion. If you’re in New York and you’re into design, or just want to check out something different, I’d definitely recommend stopping by the Marimekko store. And don’t forget to take some photos while you’re there!
I found that they created a space to celebrate the joy of unexpected moments. I really enjoyed it.
