Mens Street Style Paris, huh? Let me tell ya, them city boys got some weird get-ups. But some of it, I gotta say, ain’t half bad.

Mens Street Style Paris: Get the Look on a Budget

Saw this fella the other day, looked like he stepped right outta the 70s. You know, them wide-legged pants? Like my grandpappy used to wear, only cleaner. This guy, he had on these light brown pants, real flowy like, and a shirt with big ol’ flowers on it. Looked kinda comfy, I ain’t gonna lie. And he had these big sunglasses, too. Hid his eyes real good. Probably didn’t want nobody seein’ him starin’ at all them fancy shops.

  • The 70s Look is Back, Baby!
  • Flowy pants, big collars, and earthy colors everywhere. I even saw a young man sporting a corduroy suit the other day. Reminded me of somethin’ my uncle used to wear to church. Only this one was bright blue. Bold, I tell ya, real bold.

Then there’s the fellas who dress all in black. Head to toe black. Like they goin’ to a funeral or somethin’. But they got these fancy shoes, all shiny and pointy. And the coats, oh the coats! Some are long, some are short, some got zippers everywhere. I swear, some of them look like they belong on a spaceship, not walkin’ down the street. But they look important, you know? Like they got somewhere to be, somethin’ important to do.

And the hats! Don’t even get me started on the hats. Every kinda hat you can imagine. Baseball caps, them little beanies, even them big floppy hats that the ladies wear. One fella had on a hat with a feather stickin’ out the side. A real feather! Made me think of that rooster we used to have back on the farm.

But the thing that gets me the most is the shoes. Them city boys got some crazy shoes. Big ol’ chunky sneakers, boots that look like they could climb a mountain, and these sandals… well, they ain’t sandals at all, just straps and a sole, hardly holdin’ the foot. I don’t know how they walk in them things without breakin’ an ankle. My old work boots might not be fancy, but they keep my feet on the ground, that’s for sure.

Now, some of this stuff, I just don’t get. Like them ripped jeans? Why pay good money for pants that already got holes in ’em? I got plenty of old jeans with holes, and I didn’t have to pay nobody extra for it. And them shirts with all the writin’ on ’em? Can’t make heads or tails of what it says half the time. But hey, if they like it, that’s their business. I’m not gonna judge.

  • But the young folks seem to like them, so who am I to say anything? I just stick to my plain shirts and sturdy denim. Comfort is key, that’s what I always say.

But I gotta say, some of these fellas, they really know how to put themselves together. They got style, even if it’s a style I don’t always understand. They ain’t afraid to try new things, to mix and match, to stand out from the crowd. And that’s somethin’ to admire, I guess. Even if they look a little silly sometimes.

So, if you ever find yourself in Paris, take a look around. You’ll see all sorts of fellas dressed in all sorts of ways. Some of it you’ll like, some of it you won’t. But it’ll definitely be interestin’. And who knows, maybe you’ll even find some inspiration for your own wardrobe. Just don’t go wearin’ them ripped jeans around me, unless you want me to patch ’em up for ya.

At the end of the day, it’s all about feelin’ good in what you’re wearin’. And whether that’s a flowy 70s shirt or a pair of sturdy work boots, it don’t matter much as long as you’re comfortable and confident. That’s the real style, if you ask me.
