Okay, so I’ve been experimenting with this orange print dress I found, and I gotta say, it’s been a fun ride. Let me walk you through how I styled it.

First off, I tried to figure out what kind of accessories would go with this dress. The print is pretty bold, so I figured simple jewelry would be the way to go. I dug out some silver earrings and a silver necklace from my jewelry box. They seemed to work pretty well, especially with the lighter shades of orange in the dress. I also tried on a few silver bangles, and they looked nice too. I guess diamonds or pearls could also work, but I didn’t have any on hand to try.

Then, I started thinking about colors. Since the dress is mainly orange, I thought about what colors could complement it. I remembered reading somewhere that green is a complementary color to orange, so I paired the dress with a green scarf. It actually looked pretty cool, kind of tropical. I also experimented with a yellowish-white scarf, and it softened the look a bit, which was nice for a more casual vibe.

Now, for the nails, this might sound a bit out there, but I decided to go with blue nail polish. Yeah, I know, blue and orange are kind of a bold combo, but I saw some pictures online where people pulled it off, so I thought, why not? I painted my nails bright blue, and honestly, it didn’t look half bad with the dress. It’s definitely a statement, but I think I can rock it.
Lastly, I considered the occasion. I mean, an orange print dress can be pretty versatile. I wore it with a simple clutch for a dinner date, and it felt just right—bright and cheerful, but not too over the top. I can also see myself wearing this dress for a casual day out, maybe with some sandals and a sunhat. I think I can really get a good wear out of this one.
So yeah, that’s been my little adventure with the orange print dress. It’s been fun mixing and matching and trying out different looks. Fashion should be about having fun and expressing yourself, right?
