Alright, let’s talk about this Taylor Swift gal and her football outfits. Seems like every time she shows up to watch them Chiefs play, it’s a whole big to-do. People gettin’ all worked up about what she’s wearin’. I tell ya, it’s somethin’ else.
First off, them fancy boots she had on one time. Heard tell they cost a pretty penny, like two thousand dollars or somethin’. Lordy! That’s more than I make in a month, I reckon. But I guess if you got the money, you can spend it how you want. They were cowboy boots, all fancy-like. Not the kind you’d wear to slop the hogs, that’s for sure.
- She wears a lot of red, you know, for the Chiefs. Makes sense, I guess. Gotta support your man’s team, or whatever they are to each other. Seen her in red sweaters, red jackets, even a big ol’ red jersey one time, like a dress. That one was kinda cute, I gotta say.
- And the jewelry! This girl ain’t shy about wearin’ her bling. Necklaces, bracelets, rings… She had this one necklace with the number 87 on it. Folks say that’s her fella’s number on the team. Sweet, I guess, kinda like when I used to wear my Harold’s old work shirt when he was away.
Now, I ain’t no fashion expert, mind you. I get my clothes from the Wal-Mart mostly. But even I can see this girl’s got style. Some folks say it’s “iconic,” whatever that means. She wears all kinds of stuff. Sparkly dresses, them short pants that look like they shrunk in the wash, little shirts that show her belly button… My granddaughter wears stuff like that sometimes. I tell her to pull her pants up, but she don’t listen. Kids these days!
But back to Taylor. She wears all these fancy brands, too. Names I can’t even pronounce. Versace, Louboutin… sounds like somethin’ you’d order at a fancy restaurant. But then sometimes she wears stuff that looks kinda normal, like jeans and a sweater. That’s more my style, though I bet her jeans cost more than my whole outfit. Heck, probably more than my old mule Bessie!
And the thing is, people are watchin’ her. Every game, it’s like a fashion show. They take pictures of her, write articles about her clothes, even try to copy her style. Can you imagine? Folks wantin’ to dress like a young gal half their age. Well, I guess if it makes ‘em happy.
I heard tell you can find cheaper versions of her outfits, too. Like, if you want them fancy boots but don’t have two thousand dollars, you can get somethin’ similar for fifty bucks or so. That sounds more reasonable to me. I ain’t payin’ no mortgage payment for a pair of shoes, that’s for sure.
So, yeah, this Taylor Swift and her game day outfits. It’s a whole thing. Personally, I think she looks nice, even if some of her clothes are a bit…out there… for my taste. But hey, she ain’t hurtin’ nobody, and if she wants to wear fancy boots and sparkly dresses to a football game, that’s her business. Me, I’ll stick to my overalls and comfy shoes. At least I can chase a runaway chicken in these things.
At the end of the day, I guess it’s just fun to watch. Folks like seein’ the clothes, seein’ her cheer on her fella, and seein’ what all the fuss is about. It’s like a little bit of Hollywood right there in the middle of a football game. And who am I to complain about a little bit of excitement? It ain’t like there’s much else goin’ on around here most days.
