Well, let me tell you about this thing, La Maison. Sounds fancy, right? It’s all about them rich folks and their fancy clothes. Heard it’s some kinda show, on that Apple thing, you know, the one with the little fruit on it. They make all them fancy phones, now they makin’ shows too, I guess.

This La Maison, it’s like, you know those families, they got all the money in the world. And they’re all about them, what do you call it… “haute couture”. Sounds like somethin’ you’d cough up. But it’s just fancy clothes, real expensive, I reckon. The kinda stuff you see them rich ladies wearin’ in them magazines. This show, it’s all about two families fightin’ over who’s the big cheese in that world. All them fancy clothes and backstabbin’.
They got some big shots in this show, I hear. Some fella named Lambert Wilson, he’s a big deal, I guess. Some award thing, seven times! I don’t know what that means, but it sounds important. He’s playin’ this Vincent Ledu fella. Sounds like a troublemaker to me. Then there’s this other gal, Amira Casar. She’s up there with him, I reckon. The big boss lady maybe? This show got a whole bunch of famous folks, all dressed up in them fancy clothes. Carole Bouquet is another name they keep sayin’.
- Lambert Wilson
- Amira Casar
- Carole Bouquet
This whole thing is about some family drama, you know. Like when your cousin borrows your good dress and never gives it back, but way worse, I bet. With lots of money involved. They say the family gets into some kinda scandal. Probably somethin’ juicy. That’s what these shows are all about, right? The dirt on the rich folks. Keeps you watchin’, I guess. Keeps you guessing who’s gonna stab who in the back next.
This La Maison, it’s all in French. Imagine that! Gotta read them little words at the bottom of the screen, I suppose. Unless you speak French, of course. I don’t. But I can still figure out what’s goin’ on. Folks fightin’ over money and clothes, that’s a story as old as time, right? No matter what language they’re yappin’ in. This show is all about the fashion world, they say. Lots of pretty dresses and mean people, I bet.
They say it’s a “French-language drama series“, all fancy-like. But it’s just a bunch of folks yellin’ at each other in French, I reckon. It is from Apple TV+ .Sounds exciting to them young folks. This whole show is about them two families, fightin’ for “dominance”. That just means they wanna be the boss of everyone else. And they’re doin’ it in the “ruthless world of Parisian high-fashion”. Sounds like a whole lot of nonsense to me. But I guess it is from Apple, and you know them Apple folks, they always got somethin’ up their sleeves. That Fabrice Gobert is involved too, whatever that means.

So, that’s La Maison for ya. Fancy clothes, rich folks, and a whole lot of drama. If you like that kinda thing, then maybe you’ll like this show. Me? I’d rather watch somethin’ a little less, you know, French. But hey, to each their own, right? This all sounds like too much work if you ask me. Just wear your old clothes and be happy, that’s what I say. But these rich folks, they gotta make everything complicated. But I guess it is startin’ in September, sometime around the 18th or 19th, I don’t remember exactly. They said it was in 2024, so that’s sometime in the future, I reckon. That’s what I heard, anyway. La Maison release is somewhere around that time, I think. You can probably find out more about it somewhere on that internet thing.
All this talk about fashion, it’s all just silly, I tell ya. People spendin’ all that money on clothes. Back in my day, we had two dresses, one for work and one for Sunday. And we were happy with that! These young folks today, they don’t know how good they got it. This show La Maison, it just proves my point. Too much money, too much drama. Just a bunch of rich folks fightin’ over nothin’. They should be out in the field, workin’ hard, that’s what they should be doin’. Not prancin’ around in them fancy clothes. Oh well, that’s the world for ya, I guess. Always changin’. But some things stay the same, rich folks and their drama, that’s never gonna change. I bet those La Maison cast folks get paid good money for all that actin’.
