Okay, so, I’ve been eyeing these FP Movement x SOREL Brex Lace Boots for a while now. I finally decided to go for it and see what the hype is all about.

First, I went to the store, there are a lot of people out there, and I tried to find these boots in the store. I looked around for a while but didn’t see them on the shelves. So, I asked one of the shop assistants.
The shop assistant took me to the area where they keep their new arrivals and collaborations. And there they were! These boots are part of an exclusive collaboration between FP Movement and SOREL.
I tried on a pair in my usual size, a size 8. They felt a bit narrow for my feet, unfortunately. They only have size 8 and size 9 in stock, so I have to choose size 9. The shop assistant was super helpful, though. They explained that this model tends to run a bit narrow. I decided to try a size up. Even if it is too large, I can return them.
After I bought the boots, I wore them out for a test run in some rainy weather, I walked around the park, jumped in a few puddles, you know, really put them to the test. The result? My feet stayed totally dry!
The outsole has really good traction, too. I didn’t slip at all, even on wet surfaces. They’re pretty comfortable to walk in, but they are a bit stiff at first. I wore them around the house for a couple of days to break them in. It is much better now.

What I like about these boots:
- They’re waterproof, which is perfect for rainy days.
- The outsole has excellent traction.
- They’re stylish and unique. These boots are not just functional; they actually look really cool.
What I don’t like as much:
- They run a bit narrow.
- They’re a little stiff at first, but I guess that’s expected with new boots.
Overall, I’m really happy with my purchase. These boots are a great addition to my wardrobe, especially for those wet and cold days. I know that they are not cheap, but I think it is worth it. If you’re looking for a pair of stylish and functional waterproof boots, I’d definitely recommend checking these out. Just make sure to try them on first and consider sizing up if you have wider feet.
