Alright, let’s talk about Jens Werner. I heard about him a while back, and it got me curious. This guy was a big shot in the dancing world, especially in Denmark. So, I started digging around to learn more about him.

First off, I found out he was a Danish ballroom dancer. Started dancing when he was just 4 years old. Can you imagine? Just 4! By the time he hit 30, back in 1994, he was already a World Amateur Champion. That’s pretty impressive, right?
Then I stumbled upon this book, “Dansen blev min redning – En verdensmesters vej til toppen,” which basically translates to “Dance Became My Salvation – A World Champion’s Path to the Top.” Sounds like it would be a good read. It’s supposed to be his story, full of surprises and all that. I haven’t read it yet, but it’s on my list now.
Also, I learned he was a judge on a popular TV show called “Vild med dans.” He was on there for 20 seasons. That’s a long time! Apparently, he passed away on July 9th, which is sad. It mentioned he had been fighting cancer, and he leaves behind his wife, Anette, and two kids.
But here’s something interesting I found out. He wasn’t just about dancing. I saw that he took over as the creative director at this Swedish brand, *. Yeah, the clothing brand! It seems like he had a lot of different interests, not just dancing. He had full creative responsibility there, and someone even interviewed him about wanting to make the brand more “wholistic.” Sounds fancy, huh?
So, yeah, that’s what I’ve gathered about Jens Werner so far. He seemed like a pretty accomplished guy, from a world champion dancer to a TV show judge to a creative director at a fashion brand. It’s always fascinating to learn about people who’ve had such varied careers. I bet there’s a lot more to his story that I haven’t even touched on yet. Maybe I’ll have to do some more digging!
