Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into this whole “Tianhao Liu” thing lately, and let me tell you, it’s been a journey. I started out knowing absolutely nothing, right? Just a name. But I wanted to see what I could dig up and piece together, just like a little personal project.

First, I did what anyone would do – I Googled the name. “Tianhao Liu.” A bunch of different profiles popped up. There’s this Tianhao Liu who’s a PhD student at Columbia, studying economics. Seems like a smart cookie, into microeconomic theory and stuff like that. Then I saw another profile, a research associate, worked at STACS, went to Boston University. Interesting, but not the same guy, I think.
Then things got a bit more scattered. I found a Tianhao Liu from the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt. Sounds intense. Also, another Tianhao Liu, a PhD in Economics, but this one had a verified email from Columbia. This must be the first guy I found, right? He’s got articles, co-authors, all that academic jazz. “L Doval” is one of the co-authors, apparently.
I kept scrolling, and I found a Tianhao(Rocky) Liu, who is apparently a CFA and FRM. Also, there is another Tianhao (Theo) Liu who went to Rutgers, has connections on LinkedIn. Seemed more like a finance or business type of person. There’s a bunch of these Tianhao Lius out there! The website of Columbia University showed up in the search results. I did not click it, as there might be some cookies, tools, or something used to understand visitor’s experiences.
There is also a website that mentioned about social networks. It seems related to the first guy I found.
Then I found another one, a Tianhao Liu from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the University of Chicago. This one has a * email. This guy seems to be into optimization and mathematical programming. And he has articles too, with co-authors like J Liu, T Liu, Y Ye.

So, here’s what I’ve gathered:
- There are a lot of people named Tianhao Liu!
- One is a PhD student at Columbia, focused on economics.
- One might be into finance, with those CFA and FRM titles.
- One is at the University of Chicago, with a focus on math and optimization.
It’s like putting together a puzzle with a bunch of extra pieces. I still don’t know exactly who each Tianhao Liu is for sure, but it was a fun little research project. It just goes to show how much information is out there, and how you can start with just a name and end up with all these different threads to follow. It’s like a little window into different people’s lives and careers, even if it’s just a glimpse.
