Alright, alright, let’s talk about them city fellas and their fancy clothes. You know, the ones struttin’ around New York City. They call it “street style” or some such nonsense. I just call it wearin’ clothes, but hey, what do I know? I’m just an old woman.
So, this “New York Men’s Street Style 2024” thing, it’s all about what them fellas are wearin’ on the streets. Not for workin’ in the fields, mind you, but for… well, for lookin’ fancy, I guess. Like they’re tryin’ to impress someone. Maybe them city gals?
One thing I see a lot of is them leather jackets. Yep, leather jackets are big, real big, this year. Not the kind you wear on a motorcycle, though. These are… fancier. Smoother, shinier. Some are black, some are brown, some are even… red! Can you believe it? A red leather jacket! What will they think of next?
- Leather jackets are IN. Black, brown, even red!
- Them city fellas like to layer their clothes. Shirt, sweater, jacket… all at once!
- Sneakers are still a big deal, but they gotta be clean, real clean.
And the layering! Oh, the layering. Them city boys, they wear a shirt, then a sweater, then a jacket on top of that! Don’t they get hot? I guess not. They’re too busy lookin’ stylish to sweat, huh? It’s like they’re tryin’ to carry their whole closet on their back!
Now, the pants… They wear all sorts of pants. Sometimes jeans, sometimes them… chinos? Is that what they call ’em? And the colors! Everything from plain old black to bright yellow! Yellow pants! Can you imagine? My old man woulda had a fit if he saw a fella wearin’ yellow pants.
Shoes are important too, seems like. Lots of sneakers, but they gotta be clean. Sparklin’ clean. Not like the work boots we used to wear. These are for show, not for workin’. Some fellas wear boots, too, but again, fancy boots. Not the kind you’d wear to slop the hogs, that’s for sure.
Another thing I noticed is the hats. All kinds of hats. Baseball caps, them little beanie things, even some fancy fedoras. Hats everywhere! I guess it keeps the sun outta their eyes, or maybe it’s just another way to look… you know… stylish.
And let’s not forget the accessories. Them city fellas, they love their accessories. Watches, necklaces, bracelets… even little bags they wear across their chest. What do they keep in them bags, I wonder? Probably nothin’ important. Just more stuff to make ’em look fancy.
So, that’s what I’ve seen of this “New York Men’s Street Style 2024.” Leather jackets, layers, fancy pants, clean sneakers, hats, and all sorts of accessories. It’s a lot to take in, let me tell you. But hey, to each their own, I always say. If them city fellas wanna dress up like that, let ’em. It ain’t hurtin’ nobody. Just don’t expect me to understand it all.
It’s funny how different things are in the city compared to… well, compared to other places. Here, we wear clothes for workin’. Clothes that are sturdy and practical. Clothes that keep you warm in the winter and cool in the summer. But in New York, it seems like clothes are about something else entirely. About showin’ off, maybe. About fittin’ in, or maybe standin’ out. Who knows? Like I said, I’m just an old woman.
But one thing I do know is that fashion changes faster than the weather. What’s “in” today might be “out” tomorrow. So, if you’re tryin’ to keep up with them city fellas and their street style, you better be ready to spend a lot of money and change your wardrobe every few months. Me? I’ll stick to my old overalls and my sturdy boots. They ain’t fancy, but they get the job done.
And that, my friends, is all I have to say about “New York Men’s Street Style 2024.” It’s a whole different world out there, that’s for sure.
